A work of 2a1-Buro architects, the house sits on a rare 471m² plot directly bordering Maksimir’s 316-hectare protected forest, one of the last buildable parcels in central Zagreb with this level of seclusion.

The design merges contemporary and traditional: two intersecting volumes create clear indoor-outdoor relationships, intimate courtyards with permeable screening, circular grass parterre entrance, and flexible interior layout across three levels. Energy efficiency and sustainable construction meet urban amenities, schools, kindergartens, and city infrastructure minutes away.
