International Competition Update

Our clients de Architekten Cie., M2AU and LOLA Landscape Architects were awarded 2nd prize in the Florenc 21 masterplan competition in Prague.

The brief asked for a clear urban structure, stronger links between districts and a long-term approach to public space and ecology.

Florenc 21 Urban Design Vision

Florenc has been a key point in Prague’s planning history for more than a century. The competition looked at how to reconnect the surrounding neighbourhoods while respecting the city’s character and landscape. As a masterplan, the focus was on the big picture and the long-term development of the area.

Our role

Dotviz supported the proposal with architectural visualizations that
highlighted the main ideas behind the urban development.

We focused on creating strong, memorable images that communicate the logic of the masterplan while giving a clear sense of scale, structure and atmosphere. Even in large-scale competitions, once we frame the scene through the camera, the details become just as important.

This is where our role becomes essential, ensuring each image is accurate, cohesive and easy to read.
